The community football club, the Glenrothes Strollers Football Club did an amazing job of setting up their Community Pantry to support their community through this tough period. We were delighted to be able to help them fund their continued work.
“For a long time, we have been a community based football team. We help children develop their game and coach them through to seniors football, having established ourselves in this field with distinction. We have watched carefully on how we can still support our community during this particular tough period, and this has led us to create the Community Pantry which aims to support our footballing community and the wider community who maybe struggling during this difficult time.
The Community Pantry offers free food and other necessities to those in need, 3 days a week, as well as offering a delivery service to those who are unable to visit in person. The funds raised will help develop and sustain the project and continue to support those in the community. We are now delivering to people in Glenrothes, Leven, Methil and Kirkcaldy regularly.”
